Stop motion
It’s a beautiful day when Mr. Square is happily walking under the summer sky. Little does he know that Mr. Triangle has been plotting to murder Mr. Square for some time now. The audience sees Mr. Triangle creeping up behind Mr. Square with a Glock .30 aimed at his head. There is a dramatic moment in the story when the audience sees the bullet slowly fly towards Mr. Square. As soon as the bullet penetrates him, he fades from the scene and goes to heaven. The evil Mr. Triangle begins to celebrate his success, however he does not notice the thunder clouds beginning to form overhead. As the thunder clouds begin to pack together, a gigantic lightning bolt forms in the sky and ironically strikes Mr. Square. The lightning bolt represents Karma, as it strikes Mr. Triangle since he has committed a horrible crime.
The purpose of this story is to portray Karma. Many hindu and buddhist people believe in Karma, which is defined as “the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences”. We wanted to convey to the audience that every negative decision you decide to make in life will come back and haunt you. In this case, Mr. Square commits murder and he does not live much longer to celebrate his success. This is a great example of Karma at play.
